Re: Singapore airlines and virgin australia unveil long-term partnership
This is like a really good game of tennis.
The score is 6-7, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 and we're in a tie-break game at the end of the last set.

Gumpy, I totally agree with your choice. It's slick, stylish and makes me want to fly with them, which is the idea after all. It still gives me slight goosebumps when I watch it. It just works.

Flying QF5 SYD-SIN in J late July and just happened to click the select seats option whilst on Qantas to see if any new seats had opened up.
I had been downstairs in the nose, but logging in I found I had been moved upstairs. Odd, I thought, until I clicked on lower deck and was presented...
That does look impressive.
I've used the kerb-side entry in SYD and the two look very similar (as you would expect).
Keep it up Virgin.
Is there a date for the opening of the revamped SYD Lounge?

Re: Virgin blue launches australia’s first lounge premium entry and premium valet at
CrazyDave, as requested some feedback.
Used the premium entry on Wednesday night and was extremely impressed. It had a real feel of exclusivity to it and made a huge difference to the airport experience...
Re: Virgin blue launches australia’s first lounge premium entry and premium valet at
Hi CrazyDave,
I am flying SYD-CNS tomorrow evening so will probably use the kerbside entry then. Will report back.
Can you please confirm if there is any benefit in using the kerbside entry if I have...
Quite right too. I don't want to have to mingle with Y passengers once inside the terminal, god knows what I might catch from them.
Keep them quarantined on the plane until I'm safely through immigration thank you. ;)

Good luck to the OP - if you want Gold go get it.
But, I actually agree with Smackbum's original post, assuming I understand his point.
In a nutshell I believe Smack is saying that he finds it perhaps odd that the OP is prepared to make status runs to reach Gold when it appears that the...
Hey Jet,
I couldn't agree more about travel from the UK. I'm from Britain originally and have lived in Sydney for 5.5 years. The prices of flights from Aus continue to amaze me and at first I was like "I'm not paying that. I could get J for the price of that Y ticket if I was flying from...
Hello All,
I've seen posts akin to this in the past, and for many this is probably common knowledge, but thought I would post for the benefit of anyone not in the know.
I recently booked SIN-LHR one-way with Qantas in J for Mrs Zeit and I. The Qantas Asia site gave me a price of $5700 SGD...
Ok I've gone for 3AB - like the idea of open space and turning left (I'll pretend it's F :D).
I'm guessing there isn't much to choose between 3AB and any other seat combo in row 4 but please let me know if otherwise.
Cheers,
