Best way to redeem QFF Points - I want out?

IMHO QFF is one of the worst value FF programs out there. 24 years ago I joined AAdvantage and I'm glad I did. I operate from both a domestic and foreign base and in spite of recent changes to AAdvantage find it still delivers outstanding value at relatively low cost when compared with QFF...

    Qantas Customer Service

Not if you happen to be flying from Perth to the US... Cathay via HKG is a far better option than QF via SYD/MEL/BNE in my opinion. Lie-flat beds the entire journey and way better CX lounges in HKG vs the QF alternatives on the east coast.

    Qantas Customer Service

I'll take a CX meal over the garbage dished up on QF any day. But that's just me.

    Qantas Customer Service

With 9+ million actual air miles flown I'd say I have at least a small wee bit of experience upon which to comment.

    Qantas Customer Service

Have said before on this board and will simply repeat that I have avoided QF at all costs for the last 7+ years due terrible customer service at all contact points. It seems many Australians see QF as the Holy Grail of airlines (mind boggling ignorance IMHO). Reality is QF totally out classed by...

    DJs new 737s, pretty impressive.

As for the Lav issue... ... certainly in the U.S. the rule is... "use the lavatory in your designated cabin only".

    DJs new 737s, pretty impressive.

Look pretty clinical to me I'm seeing nothing special to write home about here other than fresh and new... otherwise looks just like my dentist's waiting room, much like QUNTAS's interiors do. Seems like a "me too" approach.

Malaysia Airlines to join Oneworld alliance

MH to London via KUL is going to KILL QUNTAS to London Yahoo. Can't wait. MH business class is miles ahead of QF and tickets are a fraction of the cost. MH via KUL or CX via HKG... both great stopover points. No more boring as bat cough Singapore layovers.

    Dear Mr Joyce...

Huh..? Sorry mate you've lost me. I didn't earn my Lifetime Oneworld status flying on QUNTAS. I don't care about ASA's, SC's, or LTG's for that matter.

    Dear Mr Joyce...

No. No confusion whatsoever. Read what I actually wrote again, not what your brain thought I wrote. I'm not comparing AA and QFF in that sentance. I'm comparing myself to others on this forum. Your English comprehension needs a bit of work mate.

    Dear Mr Joyce...

Unlike many on this forum I actually earned my Lifetime Oneworld Sapphire status by flying air miles, not by credit card purchases. I fly. A lot. Frankly I don't care what you do with ****AS (sorry about my Japanese-style pronunciation but I spend a lot of time there). I don't fly the airline...

    Carbon Tax

@medhead - Climate change is the stated REASON we "have" to have a Carbon Tax. The stated PURPOSE of the tax is to change behavior. OK, so I'm a rational investor... so I can choose to pay a tax on production in Australia or move my production offshore to another lower tax jurisdiction and...

    Carbon Tax

No Country on Earth Ever Taxed It Self to Prosperity No Country on Earth Ever Taxed It Self to Prosperity. There is no science that proves human activity is causing global warming. Sorry, but that's the inconvenient truth. If you can provide a citation to any scientific, peer reviewed...

Hong kong, what to do, where to stay

Re: All good suggestions but for me... Not so brave really... I'm only ever there for about 8 hours of the day, mainly to sleep and shower, but the short amount of common community interaction typically leads to many days of fun activities with other travelers. Just 12 days ago I met a...

    Carbon Tax

Re: Carbon Tax - JOBS to become Australia's biggest export industry That's right. Jobs, fewer of them for Australians. A local unilateral carbon tax will just shift production of goods and services offshore. This will export jobs overseas and undermine our terms of trade. Prices will rise, and...
