Does anyone have experience with HI Makati? I normally stay at the IC Makati but the old lady is getting a bit tired, and with this being a reward booking then a lot fewer points to stay at the HI. It seems to get good reviews on TripAdviser etc.

What I don't understand is that it is regularly the first flight of the day, QF1500 at 6am, that fails. Today it took off at 8:50am. Of course this then puts the rest of the day's schedule to never catching up. Is it a engineering issue or staff issue that causes the flight to be late?

As far as I know a guest invite is for 1 person. The invite will tell you. If you have had success using your mothers card and are open about it to the lounge then I would not see a problem. The most they can do is say no. I think the problem is if you pretend to be that person.
