My daughter, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids got Uber home last Saturday night from a function that was slightly "out of town". Locals all said $150 with a Taxi - cost $31 with Uber. I know who I will be ringing next time :)

Yes - and there was only one skycouch left on the return leg - don't know what would have happened if someone else had taken it - maybe there was my first upgrade to premium - just dreaming. :D

The e-ticket was issued when I made the booking. Then when I looked at the booking I noticed no seat selection but it says that multi destination bookings changes cannot be made on line so wasn't too worried. I only became suspicious when I noticed the changes in "pending" on my account.

Recently I booked a USA flight with Air NZ while it was still on sale. Went through the whole process including seat selection and payment. Sky couch was on sale as well for almost half price so I thought bugger it and booked it return. I checked my bank account and all "pending" charges agreed...
