    They used to be rather hit and miss, needing many follow ups. In the past 6 months or so, the system has worked perfectly for me. Though I have come across the odd restaurant requesting if I could book direct with them next time! Obviously trying to avoid the fees..

    Yes, I have always had to manually lodge a claim for JQ flights, on couple of instances I had to make formal complaints and follow up on the phone few times to get JQ credits - it is worse with JQ asian flights.

    I used it late last year - wasn't a holiday period - and it was really full to the point of being rather uncomfortable! I think given the focus on rolling out more and more top-tier cards, AMEX needs to expand the place to accommodate eligible cardholders or there will be major dissatisfaction..

    I have treated myself to a J/F return flight to BKK on QF23/24. Anybody know how early I can check in my luggage and get in the F lounge at Bangkok? I get in from Samui about 6 hrs before QF24 leaves - am I able to get in the F lounge for all that time?
