I had the exact same problem on a late Jetstar from KUL to SIN (QF Codeshare). Missed my connection SIN to MEL. Delayed 1 day. QF response over the phone "This is Jetstar's fault, they will make the arrangements". ...so a small party of us waited and waited while Jetstar grumpily organised...
