Posting on flyertalk.com recently, it was mentioned that details on the BA new generation club world had been leaked to the Australian Press. Can any of you tell me where - my curiosity is killing me.:( It won't be officially announced until Nov 13. Thanks:)

Thanks guys. Will try and switch. Start our RTW trip on Wednesday with a trip to Boston for three nights then LA for two. On to NZ for a week, then Oz for two weeks and Bangkok for one. I'll need a holiday when I get back!!!!

Sorry guys - a senior moment there. I did indeed change to 2a and 3a and those are the seats that are allocated to me. That website CO BNE gave me is good! I never knew itg existed. So if the aircraft changes, that website will show it to me???

Thanks Mal. A couple of weeks ago it was a three class aircraft hence me changing my seats. If it is back to 2 class then I will have to ask nicely at checkin if we can change again so my wife can sit next to me. In First we wouldn't have anyone sitting next to us and didn't see it as a problem...

Is the LAX/AKL still a 3 class flight? I got my seats changed to rows 1 and 2. Alos any tips on a cheap upgrade for my domestic economy from Ayers Rock to Sydney. I am flying business all the way apart from this sector. Or will I have to pay the full whack - but then again perhaps it is not...

Thanks NM. I thought it was an AA lounge at TBI and therefore the dreaded cash bar. But maybe that's terminal 4. Do you know if its still the 3 class on that route. I got my seats changed to rows 1a and 2a (wife) so hoping we will get the first class beds.

Just a couple of more thing on my flight from LAX to AKL on Aug 2 on the AA/QF codeshare in business class. Do you get vouchers from Qantas for drinkies in the TBI terminal lounge? And also is it still the 3 class aircraft flying that route?

We are flying from JFK to LAX with AA and LAX to AKL with QF. We overland to CHC and fly from there to MEL/CNS/SYD all with QF. Then it is on to BKK with BA. Which are the best lounges I can access at the airports with a choice please?
