I have been waiting 4 weeks to get points and credit card refunded, is this unusual, the problem is its nearly impossible to speak to Qantas at the moment, anybody else in the same boat??

I have found you don't even have to wait for the email, I scrolled across a couple of dates yesterday and when I saw that they were just over 30k in points , I booked them on the spot, beats booking with QF.

stayed at the waldorf hilton, and found it very hany, located a block from covent garden, just behind aust house. Rooms the usual smaller london size, but if you need it they have a great health club downstairs, free to use. Really its all about location and not having to take atube ride home...

So does this mean that if i arrive in la with qf, take a side trip to vegas for a week, return to la on a domestic flight, i can catch the qf service to ny.The only purpose of going back to la was so i could catch a direct 3 class service plane to jfk...cheersfor all this info....its gold
