Sighhh.... Seems American also re-scheduled a heap of my flights making me leave a destination before I arrive. Qantas Platinum line were very helpful but the segments are married so they have to send it to AA to fix

So I've booked my 140k rtw award flights a couple of months ago, but my first flight ADL-KUL has been retimed by MAS which leaves me with 10 mins to connect to my KUL-BKK flight (on the same booking ref). Question is do I call Qantas or Malaysian to fix it ?

All of them pretty much live off referrals to credit card offers anyways.

Begs the question, before the days of computer simulations how did aircraft simulators "simulate" aircraft handling ?

I found when I was seeing the taxes on the Qantas site I would expand out the taxes box and try to work out what was causing the most. I actually think the AY flights have a higher tax then what the Wiki said. Plus you have to add in so many different airport taxes and charges.. often seeing...

I actually did a variation on it last year post QF changes, still the best earn outside of AU. I also missed a flight due to delay but got route credit from QF anyways.

Yeah I worked out with that the major costs were in the IB and AY flights. I rerouted with MH to BKK firstly and took Cathay to Europe. I couldn't avoid IB to miami without swapping it for a BA flight (which had the similar taxes).. The site tried to send me home via HKG which is such a long...

Interestingly when I change the start part to SYD it goes through. Taxes of $1100 though .. Haha I've even avoided using QF and BA

hmm I did notice that JQ would cause points to jump outside of the range Y ticket of 140k. I assume I have to finish in the same city I started in? I'd like to finish in Syd or Bris but I can just miss the last leg My routing is : ADL-PER-HKG QF599/CX170 18/9 BKK-HEL AY142 1/10 HEL-MUC AY1401...
