Most bills will yield points - likely the only ones that won't are ones termed "government charges" such as the ATO (see the cards' Terms and Conditions). There's services out that such as Sniip that will let you pay (via a third party and with an additional charge) that should let you get...
I was on VNP in November and it went tech so we were re-accommodated on VNR - Econ X 'moved' from the row behind me to the row in front of me (apparently I was in Row 12) - suffice to say (and the point of my post) was there was a very annoyed row behind me and a very pleased row in front of me...
Looks like 8IC is making an unscheduled visit to NRT due to the incident at HND. While far from the most important consideration at the moment I imagine this will wreck havoc with the schedule!
Are takeaway coffee cups acceptable to be taken away by virtue of their name or will they need to be consumed within the lounge? I'm only being 50% facetious ;) as I know of coffee shops that will serve you in these for 'drink in' visits.
Everything feels strangely 'manual' with NAB - it is probably automated, but every step of the process (even closing) has seemed to take forever and as such, appearing like it won't happen. Sit back and wait, it was hard for me to do so as it felt like it was not happening :)
Totally agreed on the menu and Row 1 in my experience. My main complaint with these services is the fact they are operated by VARA rather than 'mainline' - had to wait four hours (delayed) for VA721 in the evening last year as there was some crewing issue in Perth - no ability to swap it out for...
Cheers. My complaint is more in regards to the lack of staff awareness of this policy, rather than the policy itself :) Unsure if that is intentional or just a by-product.
Certainly didn't seem to be forthcoming when this type of change was suggested to me last month - nothing was noted in the email and a suggestion of this on the phone was met with confusion by the offshore call centre team. In the end, spoon feeding them a suggestion of moving me to an earlier...
Same here. Might be better value to fly to ADL and then do a 'twofer' on the other half to SYD, MEL, BNE etc. If it were 2 credits for the >1000mi ones then it would be a different matter. I've used these before but it seems very questionable whether using all four for one upgrade is better 'value'.
I have "7-Eleven September Fuel Bonus Points" (250) that landed in my account yesterday. No idea what I did, but I am guessing this is some sort of a promotion.
Yesterday, I ended up being swapped between three Virgin flights between MEL and PER, in fact ending up on one of the same flights twice in the process (the first and last time of four different bookings) with a cancellation inbetween. Both myself and another displaced passenger flying the same...
