I went there today. Boring shoebox layout, but great fit out. Very busy, but nowhere near as bad as the old J lounge. Top service. Great food and coughtails but wine list is cheap and nasty. Is it due to high taxes in Singapore for drinks? Menu attached. Off to try the showers now.

EK F on the A380 is better. Has the showers on board. The F lounge in Dubai is amazing too. Way better than QF in J on an old 747

I had an experience in January where I flew YVR/NRT with JAL in J and they said I should use the Plaza Premium Lounge. Went there - full, noisy, poor options... then realised I could actually go to the CX lounge. OMG what a relief, so much better... (there is a BA lounge too, but the timing...

well.... as it turns out, I've done a couple of unexpected MEL-SYD trips, so now I only need another 70SC for my first WP. I only have a few months left, so it may just mean a domestic status run of some sort... I am not going to fall short, that's for sure.

see attached image... I'm trying to do a status run to get WP. I need another 130 SCs. I thought MEL-BNE-CHC in J would work, but I don't get anything for BNE-CHC despite it being a QF flight number. Is this an error? (and I would use pts to get home... CHC-MEL) thanks for your advice, experts!

I don't think JL will fly the 77W and have F from SYD anymore... otherwise, all looks pretty good!

I had a look this week and actually once you are out of Australia, the availability is pretty good. Only need 1 seat.... the challenges are only on the legs in and out of OZ.
