I've done more than 4K spend more than a week ago - nothing pending and no govt spend, but still haven't received the SA gold eligibility email. Will I have to wait till my next statement?

It seems so. My VicRoads spend didn't count towards eligible spend and no SA points either. Just used Sniip for council rates which should count as eligible spend.

Nope, doesn't add any value/benefit for a use case like myself. They'll need to add something tangible that adds up to $600+ in value (since they advertised the AFR benefit at top of their marketing collateral with that highlighted dollar figure). Plus they've also taken away Shangri-La Jade...

I'm sure you can get Nike socks or whatever else you please for way cheaper locally. But - it won't come in Mr Porter Signature packaging ;) Jokes aside, I totally agree - it's way overpriced. And if you add in the shipping costs (~$30) and currency conversion, you're not really getting much...

Any intel on what the new benefit(s) may be? FWIW, AFR subscription can be had for $5 a week with a student account (which is not hard to get).
