You have got to wonder about JW's pricing policy, my boys gave me a bottle of JW Blue for fathers day cost at Dan's - $155 for 700 mil = $221 for a litre but a great price on a 700 mil bottle of JW Black at Dan's would be just under $40 =$57 per litre. So at $28 1 litre JW Black is a great buy...

I find this whole episode appalling and really feel for the OP's parents. The bottom line here is that this situation could happen to any of us and in the past if I had a confirmed J booking I would not have dreamed that I could ever be bumped down to Y...I better start using the OLCI in future...

JW Blue is cheaper at Dan M today than the DF price at SYD...Dan M have JW Blue 700ml for $149 , a great price probably as low as I have seen it for years. The Sydney DF price is $165 for 750ml, so a rare win to the non traveller!
