I'm on the MEL-OOL flight. I have been waiting for this plane for years and wouldn't miss the Australian inaugural. Missed out on *class but got an exit row for $10. Booked a QF reward on the way back. Very exciting!

Just booked then for the F1, $450 return including the 'super' 2-abreast seats down the back. Stoked. The 2am return flight will actually work out well considering the F1 finishes at midnight. Burnt some QFF points to get a MEL-SYD leg and I'm sorted. By comparison, couldn't find a direct...

I couldn't see any $99 flight that was all inclusive, maybe I was just too late. I remember AAX used to be quite good at including tax in the advertised price when they launched AU flights. Not sure if that's changed since they started advertising connections.
