I was on a Hawaiin Air flight a few years ago out of Maui which was unexplicably delayed. Then in through the forward doors walked Aerosmith and we promptly took off. They apologised to everyone in the first few rows which was rather nice

Unfortunately not a member of AA program as company policy was to fly US Airways (Platinum status achieved in Div Miles program). US Airways was excellent- received many First class upgrades being Plat status

I have just moved to Aust from the US and have just joined so Bronze I think is base level From what I have read in the forums, comp upgrades are far easier to achieve in the US than Aust:(
