This concierge stuff doesn't surprise, as they had become progressively less helpful to me over last few years. But it really sucks, when it worked it was a huge benefit, hard to see it as anything other than cost cutting, the spin of an app to replace it is basically insulting.

I tried to use the new Global Entry App at SFO on Friday, it kept saying I wasn't close enough, even when I was in the concourse approaching. Not really sure it would generally save me much time, never any queue for the machines for me and they are quick to take the photo.

Android version hasn't been updated yet only iOS it seems but positive news. My US wife and son use MPC and are usually not far behind me using Global Entry. My son last time was loudly complaining that I was cutting him last time and I wasn't a US citizen 😅

Just confirming that at CDG I was afforded all the benefits, Sky Priority Security Fast Track was a life saver too.. I have sent Air France Australian centre an email reply back informing them that they were wrong.

So an update, just waiting at BHX for my fight to CDG with AF. As some point, maybe the day before online checkin opened, I was able to select a seat for free, but not that far forward. Then I could checkin, I received Sky Priority on my BP and was able to change the others on my PNR (no status)...

I am missing in the article where it says that? It specifically shows booking direct fares and points out the code share is required for lounge access. So am I missing something in the article, was it never correct or has the situation changed and it's no longer correct?

I would say the website isn't actually clear, it's possibly ambiguous but Qantas were clear when @AFF Editor contacted them as per this article written Qantas Clarifies Air France, KLM Tier Benefits

Sigh, sadly this wasn't the case for me. Agent informed me partnership only meant I could get miles. Gently corrected her and asked her to look again. Nothing.. Asked for a supervisor, put me on hold for 15 mins to come back with no supervisor and just tell me the same thing.. So I asked again...

Anyone have any luck with preassigning a seat on intra europe flight? I am Gold and have an AF BHX-CDG coming up, my number is attached they tell me but won't let me choose a seat, maybe have to wait till check in?

Very odd I have flown United five times to the US from Sydney since Dec last year and the attestation has been part of the Travel Ready Centre/Check in on the app, never printed anything.

Yep I flew direct on Wednesday. I will say the plane wasn't a full load so not sure if that helps with the decision currently.
