It will be interesting to see how Trump's experience with the drug pans out, especially if he subsequently becomes infected. If he survives, the drug will get the credit. If he doesn't - well maybe they will claim that he was in the placebo arm of a double blind trial.

I worry more about what happens when the stimulus payments end. By that stage the US economy may well be a smouldering wreck and the ramifications for the rest of the world don't bear thinking about.

My prediction is that there will be no regular international flights for at least a year, and when QF starts flying again they will be using 787s converted to all J (at F prices). I am a glass half full person, mind.
Actually, there was no specific plan. We had booked accommodation and were making it up as we went along. By now we would have fine tuned our itinerary, but it got derailed by some virus which is going around...
I am hearing reports from the north west of Tasmania that the public hospital is running short of PPE. Very worrying because it is a hotspot, numerous infected staff and 100 sent home to self isolate.
When this crisis has stabilised - I don't think it will ever go away, unfortunately- I think the interesting stat will be all cause mortality when compared with previous years.
