Agree the reputation is stuffed. Not helpful when your target passenger resides in small communities, you can’t get these people offside as they are key to making these marginal routes even remotely work. No idea where this heads next. Talks about trying to find a buyer. I struggle to see how...

    Jetstar A321neo

Where are these aircraft headed next? I note about 4 A321s about to be delivered over the next month or two. Also looks like a small batch of A320Neos are due soon.

    Ask The Pilot

Can I ask also, why the forward input on the control column at 1.03? Second attempt they certainly held it off.

Rex launches its own frequent flyer program (in October 2023)

They need to add Perth and Cairns if they want to be a viable alternative. A recent flight I took from Cairns, had a lot of American Airlines bag tags in the overhead bin.

Club Jetstar Certainly Seems to Pay for Itself.

I get more flexibility from JQ vs anyone else normally. Flex fares are often good value. This would be a welcome addition.

20th Birthday sale approaching shortly also, expect pre sale for club members. I’d imagine over the next fortnight

IMHO they should have just stuck with MCY, and focused growth more on Melbourne. They even only recently started about a fourth base, they just don’t seem to get it, trying to do waaaaaay too much. Well sadly it seems it will be the death of them.

It’s clear they got greedy with the OOL base. Between wet leasing foreign and local crews, delayed start, new in house crews, the costs must have been horrific. I think it might have panned out differently if they never touched OOL. Seems like they have burnt whatever cash they had which was...

I think that’s likely part of the issue here, 777 offloaded its leases to AIP who was financing them. 777 don’t control anything in regards to leases anymore. The new lessor will likely be able to re market them almost immediately for a considerable gain for a new term.

This is how Virgin 2.0 started. Talk about energy. A decade later after Scurrah arrived, this is how it ended. And now this. 😂 Borgehtti couldn’t run a balance sheet. But his team did a good job producing creative. The Lake Eyre commercial cost a bomb, but won many awards. Was all...

What a stupid commercial. I’ll chuck my marketing cap on, but again, still makes no sense. I don’t get the whole fanfare they keep pushing with this baggage tracking. My AirTags leaves this system for dead.

I guess we are now in that ‘period of negotiations’ behind closed doors. If they do enter Administration, wouldn’t the lessor just take its fleet back pretty quick and re market it for much more? That essentially just sends it directly to liquidation, a fleetless airline. I reckon they are...

    VA Cancellations, Delays growing?

Well they just cancelled today’s CNS-HND flights. I assume the stuck aircraft will just operate tonight’s flight

Can the finance experts advise what happens to all the forward revenue if it collapses into Voluntary Administration? Does that revenue essentially just go to the creditors, namely 777 Partners, who hold all the loans they have taken out? I assume they might hold 50-100m of forward revenue.
