Unable to combine a classic reward with a classic plus reward as a multi city booking

Thanks for the feedback to my original post commencing this thread. Yes the conclusion seems to be that the only way to mix a classic plus reward with other normal reward or cash fares is via a simple return route such as A to B and return. The inability to include in a multi city booking...

Unable to combine a classic reward with a classic plus reward as a multi city booking

Hi all. Unless I am missing something, I am unable to combine a classic reward with a classic plus reward as a multi city booking. In fact, classic reward plus seats do not appear at all in a multi city search despite showing in a point-to-point search. So how would I be able to make one...

Well I'm stumped. Classic Reward, multicity, release dates, I must be doing it wrong.

Hi JennyMG, it is too early to find reward seats "from France or thereabouts to home next May/June 2025" as it is too far in advance and not yet on the booking calendar. In relation to " from Syd to Italy or thereabouts next April/May 2025 " only early April departures are on the system and that...

Classic upgrade bids - to couple or to not couple?

If you have one PNR and request an upgrade the request applies to all passengers in the booking. You can however split a booking ( can be done on-line ) and request separate upgrades that way. If you split a booking you may however wish to link the passengers as travelling together ( call centre...

Schedule change - two separate bookings

All good in the end. It took a few phones calls I but manged to change both bookings to the same earlier flight via Brisbane as opposed to the last flight of the night. As expected I had to call both Qantas and Amex Travel to make the change.

Schedule change - two separate bookings

My original post said they were teenagers without specifying age. They are 15 and 16. Once again thanks for the feedback all !

Schedule change - two separate bookings

Thanks everyone ! I am going to sound Qantas and Amex out but I am also tempted to leave it as AustralianPoochie suggested. Yes the boys are capable of being split from mum and dad to fly together themselves but if I attempt a change and we end up on different flights then we have to wait for...

Schedule change - two separate bookings

My family of 4 are travelling together Mackay to Melbourne via Brisbane. Mum and dad (me) have a reward seat booking made with QF while my two teenage boys have a separate ticket paid fare booked through Amex Travel. Soon after making both bookings, I called Qanats to link the bookings. I have...

    Melbourne to Japan on Points

there are 3 economy class reward seats on 21 September from Melbourne to Tokyo via Hong Kong. Given this is a bit late for a popular destination during school holidays it is unlikely to get much better than this. I haven't searched for return flights though.

Cannot add QFF number to booking

so is this how it works: if I intend to purchase a revenue fair, do I first purchase the gift voucher for the value of the fare ( or greater ) and then pay with the voucher to avoid card fee ? Can I pay reward seat taxes that way as well ?

    Qantas redemption booking woes

If MEL to LAX is a day time flight as you say, personally I would go with the premium economy direct flight.

    Europe Routing 2024

getting close to Athens or Athens itself with partner airlines is tricky. If you want a 100% reward seats route than I imagine it would be BA out of London or maybe Royal Jordanian fly there from Amman. You could try searching flying into say Frankfurt with JAL or Cathay or other airlines and...
