    And then there was one. Now confirmed on EK407 at 2115 hrs MEL-DXB. QANTAS have already sent the revised ticketing and I have picked our seats. Pity it's not that easy with the other channels of communication.

    Good news, I now have two bookings MEL-DXB. One on EK409 and one on EK407. Appears my Twitter message got through. Have checked QANTAS and Emirates sites and is showing on both. Now the anxious wait to see if the change sticks.

    Still trying, FB messenger, Twitter, three phone calls. All with no reply or no joy. But, I will persevere and overcome! Or just enjoy an early breakfast on EK 409!😩

    I have now sent an email to the customer service address, after speaking to two agents. No reply even acknowledging the receipt of my email. Will try the phone again in a few days, just in case something does happen.

    I am trying to do the same with EK409 and EK407 Qantas points booking. Does your QFF status make a difference when making this sort of request? Update - after approx 1.5 hrs on the line - the agent is attempting to call Emirates to request the change. Agent has just requested if they can call me...
