Very common for airports (and governments) to be chasing airlines, getting QF to KUL is a long shot IMHO given the aircraft shortages QF have and I'm sure there are other ports that are well and truly ahead of KUL in the pecking order.
LHR and HEL can be accessed through SIN and HKG with BA and...
Well I'm sure the engineers and the ops team recommended it years ago, but AJ pretty much deferred all the capex QF needed so that he could use the cash to return to shareholders --> beefs up the share price --> juices up his KPI's ---> bigger bonus.
QF has got a mountain of capex to fund with...
I finally got my points posted overnight, which seems to align with your timing but is out of whack with the timing of some of the others here. Better late than never !
Starting to panick now, got Aeroplan 50k status on 25 November and here I am 10 weeks later with nothing :(
I did reach out to Aeroplan on Facebook messenger and got a generic response saying I should contact HSBC, but this promotion actually has nothing to do with HSBC as the bonus 50,000...

Happens quite a bit with the AA award search engine, when you think you've found a J award only to find...
To be honest, this thread is much ado about nothing.
If there are indeed 'external influences' on this site but there are only "small number of users on AFF" that fit this 'profile', then those posters are punching well above their weight if their posts have the effect of having such a...
All about milking that cash cow that is the tourist. Easy way to prop up the coffers. Its a false economy though, the tourist dollars foregone will exceed the revenue raised.
