I put through an order from Laithwaites for $257 worth of wine and cashrewards tracked it as $51 with a cashback of $11. I wouldn't purchase from them again. Their rage isn't great and the pricing is only competitive when you stack all the discounts, which you may or may not get.

I don't think the 2011 Meshach has even been released yet? I went there earlier in the year and they were still tasting the 2009 (which is good).

Apparently 2008 was a mixed vintage in SA due to a heatwave during the harvest. The grapes that came in before the heatwave were excellent but a lot didn't make it in time. There are some great 2008's reds around, particularly from the flagship wines which could pick and choose their grapes.

The Parade Cellars (in the arcade next to the Norwood Foodland) usually stock the various Mikes Press offerings. They are usually around the $13-16 a bottle mark depending on the variety.

I used my Amex credit on this the other day as I was after some more riesling quaffers. It will be interesting to see if it lives up to Tony Key's high praise.

I haven't tried the Miles from Nowhere cab merlot but I have bought their straight merlot and their cab sav. Both are decent wines without being particularly remarkable. I paid $5 a bottle for the merlot from a langtons auction and a bit less for the cab sav through a cellarmasters deal.
