Absolutely agree. As I’ve stated elsewhere, a poor cousin to Emirates F for example. Recently flew QF2 F. White wine choices, Riesling, Semillon & Chardonnay. I drink neither. Menu was uninspiring. QF1 F was marginally better. And then we can talk about amenity kit ….. 😂

Personally I’m very happy to have the option to be in an Emirates 380 in First with a QF number rather than a Qantas 380 which is a very poor cousin in my opinion.

In my experience, I was in a single seat by bulk head slightly ahead of the middle so I was a little isolated. My table was laid and I kept thinking they’re getting to me but they did not. It was a long haul USA to AU. Very embarrassed & apologetic staff. I reckon one of the crew had my meal !

This happened to me coming back from the USA back to Australia on QF. I was compensated with 2 bottles of wine. I found it rather perplexing considering I had pre ordered my meal.

Any updates on pre order meals for QF1 - still don’t appear to be an option !

Definitely receive confirmation email of selection almost immediately. Might have gone to junk folder?
