The issue that you have is that there is no one there to bag drop to. When we were there QF didn’t have bay arrangement with another carrier to accept the bags or even print out bag tags.

We have been Diamond for the past few years and now down to platinum and have never received anything other than the bare minimum upgrade. I wish you better luck than we have had.

We flew in December. FJ advised if you are not flying on a QF ticket then they will give you a food voucher. I think it was $40 bucks.

I agree with @Borisdog use the EK lounge in AKL It is streets ahead of the QF lounge.
