Hi, I've heard some people mention its possible to get points refunded back by paying addtional money instead of getting them transferred into Travel Bank. I find this whole TravelBank a con, it should just be refunded back to the card.

Yeah sad loss, used the HKG route a few times and saw it as a good stepping stone to London since Virgin Atlantic dumped the Australian leg several years ago. The return flight seem to be busy on the SYD sector. It puts a dent on my future velocity status now especially gaining the required sectors.

Yeah I'm waiting for Virgin to postpone since I've booked a flight over at Easter, cant see that going ahead now. Hopefully get a full refund back from Virgin ! Need to start cancelling the accomdation within the next few weeks to get a refund.
