I hope they only allow the animals onto designated flights and passengers will know there will be dogs and cats on board so we can avoid those flights. I love dogs but have no desire to share a confined cabin with them and all that entails. Yes, there are smelly, annoying humans sometimes but...
I've still got a good stash of Krisflyer miles but as we are unlikely to fly overseas again I think I will just convert them to Velocity points before they expire. I'll lose on the conversion but will use less Velocity points for bookings and will avoid all the problems with flight numbers and...
Somewhat harsh response I think. The man makes the point that he changed to an earlier flight to ensure he connects with his international leg. You may be technically correct but surely we should all expect that the contract we enter into with an airline is honoured by both parties.
In October we had a 2 week holiday in Airlie Beach, About a week before we were due to leave home our return VA flight from BNE - MEL (2nd of 3 legs) was cancelled. Virgin booked us on flights that meant an overnight stay in Melbourne. Rather than fly over 2 days we decided to add 2 more nights...
In 2023 with the massive immigration numbers into Australia it doesn't matter whether the call centre (Qantas or otherwise) is located overseas or in Oz, there is a real problem understanding the accents. At least the Qantas staff should be trained properly.
I have stopped spending money with Qantas in the sense I am no longer earning points, not entirely for the lecturing but other reasons such as lack of reward seats and overall service. I have been moving over to Virgin for about a year now. I still have Qantas points but am running them down on...
Obviously you belong to the other 50%. Most people, including myself are all for social justice, respect & equality but don't want an airline, large company or sporting body lecturing to us about it. They should stay in their own lane.
I would like to see elimination of Qantas pushing political/social causes onto us. It's not hard to understand that by doing what they are doing they potentially alienate 50% of their customer base.
Ok so it wasn't part of a shopping promotion? Mrs ramboflyer has just headed off to Coles to spend at least $50 in our latest promo. I'll be interested if she gets anything off when she scans.
Interestingly in todays financial news Coles is leaking money in various ways. Maybe this is another...
You wont see the $50 in your FB's account. Once you spend at least $50 on your 5th shop it will come off automatically when you scan your FB card and spend at least $50. They don't tell you that, you have to work it out for yourself!
Without knowing which route you are trying to book I just found plenty of reward availability using Krisflyer miles on Virgin for 3 different domestic options for next year. This is definitely a big improvement on what has been the case late in 2022.
Which route booking are you trying to make?
I agree Matt. Last trip in the northern summer for us was way too busy, e.g London very crowded, packed like sardines in the Vatican Museum and you could barely move in San Marco Piazza. Never again, next time it will be in a shoulder season.
