    Better Domestic Lounge in Melbourne?

Air Berlin Gold doing Adelaide-Melbourne-Adelaide, I know the Qantas Lounge in Adelaide is a lot better than the Virgin one, what about in Melbourne? Specifically food and printing.

No returns to Adelaide during the year, also no miles to spend.

Adelaide - Chicago | Elite Status on Every Alliance + Platinum on Etihad

Need to fly one-way from Adelaide to Chicago, around the 15th of August +- a few days. Two questions: I am heading for a year-long study abroad and do not know my return dates/cities, should I book a flexible ticket or two one ways? I have Star Alliance Gold (Avianca Brazil Diamond), One...

    Printing in Melbourne Qantas Club

Thanks for the reply everyone, yes I will have my own laptop - is it easy to connect to the printer (the office grade multifunction one) or will I have to use one of the computers? Thanks

    Printing in Melbourne Qantas Club

Howdy guys, I'm not much of a regular at Qantas Club's but am OWS. I'll explain: I arrive into Melbourne at 6AM on a Saturday on an international flight and have a domestic flight leaving at 9AM. I am just wondering what the printing situation is in the Qantas Club: is it free? is it a good...

    SQ212 - 772-300/330 J Product

Both the 773 and 330 have the same regional J product (all the 773's have been refitted). It's a fine product overall, 2-2-2 angled-flat seats, comfortable with a good amount of storage and leg room. The only difference between the two planes is the 773 has slightly wider aisles and an older IFE...

MH gourmet in economy - ex KUL

Thanks for sharing, I have a return flight ADL-LHR in a couple of weeks. Honestly though I find the food on MH to be quite enjoyable (although they have definitely cut back on the snack/meal options for long haul flights over the past few years) and 70RM for a more 'premium' meal a waste of...

    Claiming GST Back

Hi guys, so a little back of a bit story. I am a student from overseas studying in Australia and I recently bought a laptop in Australia. When I went home two weeks ago, as I was leaving Adelaide I claimed the GST back on my laptop. The lady asked me who the laptop was for, I said it was for my...

Royal Brunei Dreamliner flight report - Manila to Bandar Seri Begawan

I'd go with Etihad. Better lounge in MEL (when the Etihad lounge is built), better transfer experience/lounge in AUH (although BWN does have the benefit of being a small airport and is currently undergoing some pretty hefty modernisation), Royal Brunei uses the Etihad lounge in LHR. Direct...

Royal Brunei Dreamliner flight report - Manila to Bandar Seri Begawan

Thanks for my report, good to see my national airline is finally catching up. I must say I am a fan of the colour scheme in J. How was in the service? It is 2-2-2 In J, 3-3-3 in Y.

The worst airport lounge you have ever visited?

Going to disagree with this one. It's a clean, quiet lounge and never crowded. While there aren't any 'nap' areas and the food and drink options are quite paltry, I can think of a number of worse lounges. PS, the flight timings have now been changed for LHR-MEL with the connections a lot shorter.
