    Flight delays/cancellations

No explanation given for either flight. Just messaged that they were cancelled, and second message offering later flight or refund. Both flights cancelled today we're Dash 8, and all pax (I assume) pushed on to the last flight which is an E190

    Flight delays/cancellations

I know QF domestic flights on the major routes are experiencing delays and cancellations but regional is just going from bad to ridiculous. Of 8 Qantaslink Dash 8 flights BNE/NTL/BNE flown in the past few weeks, all have been delayed or cancelled. 2 +15 mins, 4 + 30 mins, 1 +90 mins, and...

QF to BA - Luggage transfer in Singapore

Yep, I'll have plenty of time. And I'll know when we check in at BNE if they can do it or not anyway. By changing to BNE/SIN while we have just under 6 hours layover in SIN, I'm actually cutting over 2 hours off total travel time. And 6 hours in Changi is no burden.

QF to BA - Luggage transfer in Singapore

Apparently I'm not the only one having this problem. Even though I could see (and booked) the available J Rewards seats on my screen, they weren't showing up on the call center operators screen. But they could see them if it was a new Reward booking, or for Credit Card purchase. I've booked...

QF to BA - Luggage transfer in Singapore

So I have had some success. After managing to get 2 x J Reward bookings for QF51 BNE/SIN this morning, I canceled the QF81 SYD/SIN leg (we actually live in BNE). I was able to get the separate bookings 'linked' meaning I should be able to get the luggage checked straight through from BNE to LHR...

QF to BA - Luggage transfer in Singapore

Hi, just after some clarification if possible. I'm flying QF81 SYD/SIN, 4 hour layover, then BA16 SIN/LHR next month in J, but the flights are under different bookings. Will I be able to get my bags checked straight through from SYD to LHR, or will I have to collect them and recheck with BA in...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

My recent experience with a very simple booking mirror's others on here. I wanted to book 2 x J BNE/LHR or SYD/LHR return for late next year. Started looking at availability about a month before flights are released to get an idea of what might be possible and it was VERY slim pickings. I was...

Is the Multicity booking tool broken?

I'm Gold so I see QF seats a bit earlier. And they go very quickly.

Thanks. Yep, I knew I didn't have to go around the world, but for some reason thought I needed a QF. Even better now :) 1663919939 I will, and thanks. I did it all 3 years ago but it's a lot harder this time round.

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

I was sure I had have to have a QF leg to qualify for OTW , (which I was going to do anyway BNE/SYD) but I'll double check.

Thanks, I see what I was doing wrong now.

Is the Multicity booking tool broken?

Ahhh. So if I use two different carriers it adds it up as two separate flights, not one flight SYD/LHR. I have to stick to the one carrier to keep it at 159K (eg QF for each leg SYDE/HKG/LHR), or use QF plus 2 to make it even 'cheaper" OTW at 318k. Thanks for that. Looks like OTW will be not...

Is the Multicity booking tool broken?

Thanks, I appreciate that and I replied there. I posted in two threads because I had two slightly different problems. And the mutli-city one is the biggest.

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Thanks for that. So even if I use QF plus two other Oneworld partners it won't become a OTW until I return to point of Origin, I get that now. But even if I just want to fly SYD/LHR, how do I book it so it only costs, the 159k shown in the Table? And in any case as soon as I add a third leg to...
