Because I was hoping the above wouldn't happen. The SCs (if credited to the next year) are much more useful to me than $100 worth of points.

I see what you did there 😄
I'm already LTG ... and LTWP is never going to happen, so it's a waste. I'm going to call them and see what I can get them to do. Especially considering they dropped the re-qual for WP to 960 SCs for this year, after I'd already gone past the 1200, so it's really the second slap in the face.
I must have been delusional at the time of writing... 🤣
So this is what happened ... even though my status credits were wiped off from last year this morning, they credited the 75 SCs late this afternoon, but then expired them straight away. I guess many of us expected it to happen, but it's...
I made my selection on the 30th and they haven't credited yet. My membership year ended yesterday and I had held out until 11pm on the 30th to select the bonus, hoping it would not credit the next day (like most others have experienced) and go towards the next year's total. My status credits...
You can select seats on 717 services (eg. MEL-HBA etc). You can’t select seats in advance on Dash8 services (eg. My flight is SYD-ABX), only aisle/window preference. They will then allocate a seat, which you can change after check in opens, but still somewhat restricted due to load and balancing...
They've assigned me seats and I'm now able to move them. Really bizarre, not sure if it's an issue with the travel agent. Good news is they've also assigned a seat on the Qantaslink flight, even though it's not normally open for seat selection in advance.
Ok cool thank you, they are assigning seats for me now, so I will try once that is done.

They are assigning seats for me now, but I will try this next time (hopefully doesn't happen again though)
I'm currently having an issue where I can't seem to select a seat on any of my bookings. In the app it puts a coloured box around the seat when I tap (and same in Google Chrome) but doesn't select it. In IE and Firefox, nothing happens. It just won't select a seat, but doesn't give an error...
I was thinking it was a glitch, however it does specifically say "Extra legroom seating at $0" which suggests the system hasn't reverted to thinking it's a generic exit row seat without extra legroom (such as 44D,E,F,G on the A332). Fingers crossed that they've listened to the feedback and have...
I just saw a post on ABT where someone indicated that as Platinum they were able to select an exit at no charge. I've just tried and selected an exit on a domestic flight for 2 weeks time and it came up and said "Extra legroom seat at $0". Looks like it might have been changed for WPs in...
Just read the following blog on expert flyer. From Jan 11 on AA domestic two class cabins, First fare classes are being recategorised as Business (although still marketed as First).
My assumptions for QFF would be:
- less status credits would be earned on these flights, as they'll now be at...
I'm not sure of the exact wording, but I think they generally process it based on not being a customer for that particular card type you're applying for. I've always got the sign on points when adding a different card type.
For example, if you currently have a Platinum Reserve card and apply...
Fingers crossed that this comes about - Chairman's lounge would be brilliant but I can't see qantas coming to the party without some sort of hefty benefit - maybe though a deal that reduces the requirements for status though - eg. Qualify for Platinum but get Platinum 1, qualify for Gold but get...
