    Qantas seat selection not working?

You can select seats on 717 services (eg. MEL-HBA etc). You can’t select seats in advance on Dash8 services (eg. My flight is SYD-ABX), only aisle/window preference. They will then allocate a seat, which you can change after check in opens, but still somewhat restricted due to load and balancing...

    Qantas seat selection not working?

They've assigned me seats and I'm now able to move them. Really bizarre, not sure if it's an issue with the travel agent. Good news is they've also assigned a seat on the Qantaslink flight, even though it's not normally open for seat selection in advance.

    Qantas seat selection not working?

Ok cool thank you, they are assigning seats for me now, so I will try once that is done. 1579139881 They are assigning seats for me now, but I will try this next time (hopefully doesn't happen again though)

    Qantas seat selection not working?

I'm currently having an issue where I can't seem to select a seat on any of my bookings. In the app it puts a coloured box around the seat when I tap (and same in Google Chrome) but doesn't select it. In IE and Firefox, nothing happens. It just won't select a seat, but doesn't give an error...

QF now charging WP for all Exit Row economy seats [CL/WP1 exempt]

I was thinking it was a glitch, however it does specifically say "Extra legroom seating at $0" which suggests the system hasn't reverted to thinking it's a generic exit row seat without extra legroom (such as 44D,E,F,G on the A332). Fingers crossed that they've listened to the feedback and have...

Exit row seats no longer complimentry to Gold Frequent Flyers

I just saw a post on ABT where someone indicated that as Platinum they were able to select an exit at no charge. I've just tried and selected an exit on a domestic flight for 2 weeks time and it came up and said "Extra legroom seat at $0". Looks like it might have been changed for WPs in...

AA 2 class cabin F class changing to J

Just read the following blog on expert flyer. From Jan 11 on AA domestic two class cabins, First fare classes are being recategorised as Business (although still marketed as First). My assumptions for QFF would be: - less status credits would be earned on these flights, as they'll now be at...

Sign on points bonuses for existing Amex cardholders

I'm not sure of the exact wording, but I think they generally process it based on not being a customer for that particular card type you're applying for. I've always got the sign on points when adding a different card type. For example, if you currently have a Platinum Reserve card and apply...

    Centurion Research Dinner

Fingers crossed that this comes about - Chairman's lounge would be brilliant but I can't see qantas coming to the party without some sort of hefty benefit - maybe though a deal that reduces the requirements for status though - eg. Qualify for Platinum but get Platinum 1, qualify for Gold but get...

    Centurion Research Dinner

I've actually had excellent service from ACE. I've had 3 bag delay claims for emergency purchase, another 2 for damaged mobile phones, and one where I lost a passport and has accommodation and other costs to get a new passport, and all were paid quickly and with no questions asked at all. I even...

    Centurion Research Dinner

I've raised the issue of benefits vs cost a couple of times and they always suggest I register for Shangri-la or Relais & Chateaux, and I always answer "why would I when I never stay at those hotels? Then Amex would likely be paying them a fee for something I don't use, and then the benefit...

    Centurion Research Dinner

Few things from me: - Benefit vs cost has definitely dropped recently (and I've raised this with them directly) - Would be good to be able to pay the annual fee monthly (but also make the annual fee more aligned with overseas centurion cards) - With the benefits if they can't offer all at a...

Guide to abbreviations [Why the F in QF?]

JQ is the only one there that is somewhat logical though - J for Jetstar and Q for Qantas (ie. They're part of the Qantas group). To me SQ & EK make no logical sense, compared to others like VA, AA, BA, NZ etc. Then you get the really weird ones that bear no relation to the airline name at all...
