I've been checking once a week or so for the last month and haven't seen anything, Jan or Feb. I'm surprised as previous years I've not struggled so much to find something. Havne't seen seats.aero, will give it a look.

I'm wanting to use points for a ski trip next year in Jan/Feb. I'm wanting to fly Business class (or first if I find the unicorn) and am pretty open with dates, but I'm finding very little availability and nothing that seems enticing. The AA site seems to only give me routings on Fiji Airways...

Same problem with Beem for me, seems their verification process has been messed up.

I was looking for a flight in Feb. Ski season so I guess I'm just too slow. I can see a couple of options late this year as well which answers my original question. I just found it odd that I couldn't spot the flight at all when I searched.

There's plenty of options if you do it as 2 legs. I'm specifically interested in the direct flights. Can't spot anything. =9

Is there ever QF61 QF62 Award Availability? Seems like those flights never appear in an awards search on Qantas,

Cheers for the input guys. The points that are expiring are actually krisflyer miles. I've topped up enough to book return business and will sit on my aa miles till another day.

Appreciate the info, everything is a dice roll, but I've got expiring points so I need to gamble.

I think you used to be able to get first class on Qantas to HKG from SYD and then Cathay Pacific from there. I can't find any first class flights with Qantas anywhere at the moment though. Any suggestions?

If experts like yourself can't get them on Saver I've got no chance. The older suites are still pretty good though. First world problems and all...

The old style first suites are readily available as a Saver redemption, but the newer version is always 'waitlist' at best. Am I being blocked because I have no status? Do they just book out the instant they are released? Or am I just missing something? Cheers, Pete
