Strasbourg was our favourite Christmas market last year. Also the first on our cruise so I didn’t really know what to expect. Would love to go back.

Loving reading this. We did a Scenic Christmas Markets cruise from Basel to Amsterdam last year and absolutely loved it. Accompanied my parents as it was a bucket list trip for Mum and husband was dreading it. It ended up being the highlight of our month long trip. Enjoy!

Try opening a new Airbnb page and type “Anywhere-homes” into the search box and then it should let you set other parameters from there. I was wildly excited to see that the dates were not greyed out, but then the checkout date threw me and I think the moment I hesitated over that lost me...

I put in a number of search parameters on AirBnB, refreshed the page and they had a new listing LHR-SYD, with availability! Quickly grabbed them and hit “check availability” and apparently wasn’t fast enough as it came back with “those dates are not available”. <bangs head> So close

New listing for LHR to Syd, no availability. Sigh.

Essential... In the US for a conference I fell ill and had to be taken by ambulance to hospital where I stayed for a day (not overnight). $16K later, fully covered by travel insurance, I'd never travel without it.
