Actually speaking of buffets - Basillico is on the list and that's one of the better buffet restaurants in Singapore. It's certainly worth it if you're used to what we Aussies tolerate as "buffets" in our casinos....

Hilariously you can use it at the restaurant inside your hotle (Asian Market Cafe) - so might be worth a freebie meal or similar if you want. Otherwise the other restaurants (https://www.americanexpress.com/en-sg/benefits/diningbenefit/) - again I'd say go Sichuan Dou Hua - it's kinda like...

Your best bet is any of the 'Sichuan Dou Hua' outlets for 'asian' cuisine - it's modern sichuan x cantonese. There's a few japanese places on the list but they're all a bit so-so. Odette is _fantastic_ but it's french and you'll have to topup another like $750 to complete the meal :)

I think as we continue to update this thread - the points Amex are giving out - we're not entitled to them at all. They're still just a simple good will gesture on behalf of the company. Just remember that when you call them (not saying you were in the wrong @bwup2 :) Data points continue!!

From what I understand a 'one time loyalty bonus' is just how they code the points you get when they offer you a retention bonus - much like it could be 'bonus' points or 'base' points. It's funny because it's obviously intended to only happen once (or was) but it's evidently happened multiple...

Great Great data point wsthong - I think there's always a bit of a finesse with regards to calling up - generally for me I start with AW MAN I FEEL A BIT DISAPPOINTED and then chit chat about how the product has changed - it's useful if you can pinpoint one or two things that impact you...

Nope. I had around about a million points a few of the times I called. Didn't seem to matter to them. Remember they want to keep you as a customer... The long tail of getting someone new vs keeping you is... Unpleasant :)

Hi Spacetravel! Sounds like an epic journey. If you're using the online portal - you'll only be able to use one travel credit per booking - that's the limitation (it goes by card) You'll have to book separately if you wanted to 'stack' the credits - on the other hand - you could always ring...
