How did you go with this? I am flying SIN-DPS-SYD all on a single Jetstar itinerary next week. Hoping like hell not to have to go through customs. The stop is 4 hours. According to Jetstar, on an international to international transit, they tag the bags all the way to the final destination.

no - highly unlikely for them to take all the six pieces. We have other family there and will get my parents to take some presents, but not 100kg. I just didn’t want them to turn up at the airport and get told they have too much.

Will contact Finnair to see what they say. Neither of the passengers have status. If I look at manage booking under Qantas, instead of going via my bookings (in my Gold FF), it still shows three pieces. Here is a screenshot of the manage booking at Finnair.com:

They just aren't trained or cannot be bothered. Easier to say that its not available, than to make an effort to actually provide some decent service. What incentive is there for the agent if they help you find something ? Nothing. VA reward search engine is centuries behind QF. Having to do...

Nope. No penalty. It was a day since I made the original booking though. Our within 48 hours. All points are back in my account.

I didn't receive the offer either. Applied through the website, and it seems active under My Offers. T&Cs mention that you must have received the offer to be eligible, so I'm not super confident they will honor it.

Yes - and I think it may end up 50/50 on them actually honoring it - especially if there's no email confirming acceptance, and requirements.
