Hi all, I’m on my second post COVID trip overseas and have had to research this a lot, as getting my own cover was a contract requirement. It’s also covered a lot in the FB forum I subscribe to on getting travel ban exemptions.
I’ve also spent a lot of my working days in do not travel countries...
They were only enforcing the destination and transit points when I travelled, which was March this year, before vaccination certification was a thing. They called up the night before to consirm I had an exemption to fly, but I guess you are looking to fly after skies open. Their website has a...
+1 The policy I got a week ago for current travel (heymondo) ignores the travel ban and covers you for COVID provided I am double vaxxed AND I follow the Govt health requireements for the country.

All other things being equal, risk of getting it on any particular day is constant, so the risk progressively increases with...
Project Pudding, quick 50 points about precincts in Brisbane and a development I've never heard of
Project Switchism, slow 100 points and yet another of those that assume everyone gets work by applying for jobs online.
You are 100% on the money @Happy Dude. There is too much angst in navigating all the requirements, the incompatibilities, and the constant threat of change, it takes all the fun out of travel. Done it for work, not doing it for fun for a while.
These Qld rules look more and more absurd the more I look at them. I am in the habit of doing one day visits BNE to SYD as would many a road warrior. The only guidance is the web page with the pretty PDF download. The web page just says COVID test 72 hours before arrival back, but not where, so...
On CX J last week they served the drink and nut thing, then after a lengthy wait everything else on one tray. The worst of both worlds. LH were everything on one tray too. In both cases I ate the hot main first then the cold appetiser.
