    Best [Cheap] Curries around London?

My fave Indian curry restaurant in London in Cafe Spice in Prescott Street, near Tower Hill tube station. It's unlike most Indian restaurants in that the food is more aromatic and their menu is unlike the pretty standard Indian curry menu that we see everywhere else. It is fully licenced, but...

    Photographing paintings behind glass

Photographing anything in a glass frame is very challenging. I like to do time-lapse photos of aircraft moving around at airports and that usually involves attaching my GoPro to the lounge window, but it gets too many light reflections. My tool for removing reflections in that case is a...

    Flight notifications for cancelled flights

Whilst a cancelled flight is no longer visible to you either in the app or the QF website, the booking continues to exist in the QF system, with all its history of payment and refunds etc.

Keeping Platinum One with on-the-ground offers?

And don't forget that you still need to fly 4 sectors a year on QF metal to requalify.

Home delivery of QF Magazine during COVID-19

As others have said, it's available via PressReader, and you can get a free subscription from most public libraries. My May copy was available on 1st May. But I doubt that it'll continue to be published for long, as readership will be way down and therefore advertising will come to a halt.

    Aeroplane playing cards

Qantas sold their branded playing cards onboard international flights as a part of their Duty Free selections. Cost of a pack was $10. Qantas ended their Duty Free sales on 31st Dec 2017.

Seeking advice: US ESTA for transit

Bitten, the OP, asked for advice last Friday, and their most recent comment was also last Friday. It's now Wednesday. Many of us will be wondering what the outcome was. When people ask for advice in such situations, and suggestions and feedback are given, it's always good to hear what the...

What type of shop/store would you like to see at the airport that isn't usually there now

Chemist Warehouse stores usually have a section that sells lots of tiny toiletries.

Disabled on fixed income, looking to accrue Qantas points for travel.

Credit cards are one of the best methods of earning Qantas Points. But I understand your difficulty in getting one when you're on a low income. Don't forget the Qantas Cash Card, which is being renamed to the Qantas Money Card. It's a debit card, so you simply transfer money from your bank...

    7-month Qantas saga

It's very easy for any of us to criticise the OP given hindsight, but my comments are not intended to criticise him. When you're at risk of missing a very expensive flight for a important event overseas like a wedding, you really don't want to miss the flight, and that leads to stress and...

    Photography and Cameras

Daughter needs to use a function that allows focus tracking of moving objects. Better DSLRs have it. Generally called Servo focusing.

    Where's my PressReader???

As far as I can tell, the access via PressReader hotspots is exactly the same as what QF offered. The difference is that QF gave you 12 hrs of access, whilst it varies at hotspots. City of Sydney libraries give anyone (yes, you don't have to be a resident) 3-4 days of access.

    Where's my PressReader???

You still can use PressReader in the comfort of your own home. You just have to connect briefly to a PressReader hotspot near you, as described in my previous post today, then you can go home and download magazines for 3-4 days.

    Best Travel Sim card?

Not correct. Get a Three (3) Sim from either Simcorner at SYD or from one of their stores in the UK, make your first usage in the UK, and you then get 9GB of data a month whilst roaming throughout Europe, plus the USA, NZ and even back in Australia. Three has had this deal for about 3-4 years...
