Just to close this out for people's benefit - it was as @madrooster describes. I called Qantas (I'm WP1 so this may have helped) and made the name change from my cousin to my niece - all was very straightforward and no risk of them releasing the seats back to inventory as I'd been worried about...
Thanks @sudoer - that was going to be my approach, but then I read this post:
Which seemed to indicate no vegetarian or pescatarian option (at least for the lunchtime flight)
Hi, just wondering if anyone has been on a morning PER-SYD or evening SYD-PER flight in J recently (in the 737) and knows what the menu is? Trying to decide whether to book a vegetarian meal or whether one of the options is normally vegetarian or pescatarian.
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the reply - just bolded what I think is the relevant point here. Given the flight is sold out - would the seats actually go back into classic reward inventory and hence be available to immediately rebook and does the agent get any choice in this? My concern is that if they don't go...
Hi all,
I've got some Qantas domestic classic reward flights coming up. One of our group can't fly and I was looking to change to another friend. My understanding (that I'd like confirming before I phone Qantas) is that, whilst they can change the name, the process is that the booking get's...
Whilst I wouldn't consider myself a vinophile I am partial to a Moss Wood cab sauv and got stuck into a couple of bottles of it last month on a LAX to Syd flight in F (and then slept it off in what is, in my opinion, the best bed in the sky).
I thought this was an excellent wine to serve in F...
They would have delighted me much more if I was one of the people with a spare seat next to them in Y - as usual I have someone next to me whilst those further back don't
Got an invite to 'Experience our Chairmans Lounge' before my next flight. Email offer of a one off visit:
'As a valued Platinum One member, who holds Lifetime Status recognition with Qantas, we would like to show our appreciation for your support by offering you one-time access to experience the...
Quick question to the group
I'm a dual citizen (UK/AU). I always enter the US on my AU passport which has a B1/B2 visa (as I'm ineligible for an ESTA due to past visits to Iran). If I apply for Global Entry using my UK passport can I still enter the US using my AU passport or will I need to get...
I don't believe there are any arrival lounge options (but I'd be happy to hear differently). I've taken to booking my hotel for the night before when coming in on an early morning QF flight and using it before heading into the office (an admittedly expensive solution). The lack of arrivals...
Does anyone know if any arrivals lounges are available in LHR Terminal 3? I'm arriving on QF9 (in J) and as far as I can make out the Plaza Premium and Regus lounges are closed (and there is no longer access to the AA arrivals lounge). Looking to get a shower before heading into the office.
