    Excuse my ignorance JB but is it normal practice for the FO to do both the take off and landing? I know before we left you announced that the FO would be doing the flying I just assumed that you would do the landing if he did the take off.

    I can understand that. The 747 is a very iconic plane. I just prefer the 380 on longer trips. I do enjoy getting on a 747 from LAX to JFK.

    Love the QF 95 timing but not super happy about it being a 747. First world problem maybe?

    I know there was a companion sale in January this year. Wife and I booked our J fares to NYC for Christmas. Past no guarantee for future though.
