Just to answer my own question it opened at 12pm (for the 4.05pm departure)

Does anyone know if Qantas allows an early bag drop in Auckland? I landed on an AA flight and have a separate ticket on QF146 later in the afternoon.

Just landed from AA35 (DFW-AKL) and didn't receive a pre departure drink in J!

Correct. Just flew out of LAS and no admirals lounge (and sounds like no plans or room to add one in)

The change flight field was shaded out and had call the contact centre when hovered over. Gold status and am connecting onto QF11 so will see what they say in AKL

Has anyone had any luck in the past bringing forward a J international booking to the same day earlier flight (similar to the options often presented for Domestic)? Looking at moving from QF142 to QF140 (2 hours earlier) AKL-SYD leg. Flying J (non award seat) which has J seats available...

No award seats showing on QF or BA as yet

Cairns, Darwin and Perth used to have SQ availability in J but that all seems to have dried up with lifemiles now.

Depends on the route. Nothing I can see in J ex Perth, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane but if I search SQ J to KUL or CGK I do see award availability

Lovely woke video. I'm surprised they didn't have Alan from Dublin or one of the Cape Town call centre staff who hang up on you featured in the video. Looking forward to Dubbo to Cabo and Kalgoorlie to Lapland directs coming with Project Sunrise!

Interesting choice of ad in the January Qantas magazine. Any other ads caught your eye for being a little outside the travel world over the years?

I'd think PER-FRA would get the nod over AKL-YYZ as they build WA up as their Western base to Europe.
