There's room - Next to the Singapore Airlines lounge downstairs (In blue) is two large spaces which are vacant, they were intended to be a Qantas Business Lounge (the longer, larger space) and a Malaysian Airlines Lounge, but they were never fitted out.

Qatar Airways announced today that they will be flying daily to Adelaide from May using their new A350-900. This comes on the back of Cathay increasing their HKG service to 5 weekly. International Airlines now directly servicing Adelaide include: Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airline, Emirates...

So now we just need a narrow-body Business seat Mk II - Time goes fast, it's been 4 years since the current 737 Business seats were first installed.

I need to book another J flight clearly, they seem to have really lifted their game - looks like we are finally seeing the level of quality seen on transcon flights across the network. The panty looks like a real winner, looks really good how they provide a menu.

Though that flexibility is handy, like AA's new A321 for transcon services, it has the CX seat installed as First in a 1-1 config.

Me too, I really hope this is the choice they have made. This particular seat can be installed on narrow bodies as well, which adds an interesting element of flexibility.

I must be weird because I find domestic Business on Virgin Australia and Qantas pretty much the same ... Different, but much the same. Granted some flights stand out due to outstanding crew but such crew pop up now and then on both airlines

screw being an adult, we're talking about marshmallows man!

I haven't been to BNE in ages, any news on how this is progressing? It sounds like a big expansion.
