It might be related but last year I booked a QF flight DWN-ADL-MEL for later this month using a Classic Reward. Having to cancel it now due to the Victoriastanian lockdown, I tried to cancel it online, but instead of showing up as a refund of taxes plus points recredit it showed as just a flight...

I recall after following the voucher button that there is an option to get a refund on the next page.

My $$$ were recruited to my credit card just yesterday, a couple of weeks after the points showed up.

QF are not deducting the usual 6000 points for classic reward cancellations for flights at this stage up until July 31

QF cancelled two domestic flights and subsequently I cancelled a third on three separate PNRs, two were Classic Rewards bookings. After about 4 weeks the first points have been refunded in full but no sign of any credit card refunds yet.

First signs today of the refunded points from the first flight that I cancelled (well when they convert a MEL=PER-BME booking to PER-BME what use is it?) but no signs of the refund on my credit card. They had cancelled the KNX-DWN sector earlier but no signs of that credit either.
