    hotels.com query

I've contacted hotels.com and was unable to get a straight answer. United Hotels is only contactable via phone. I've made a booking via United Hotels (so I can earn United Miles). My cousin (in Canada) has also made a booking on my behalf via hotels.ca (so he can earn free nights). Just...

    United Miles...earning miles

So to update, my cousin made a booking on my behalf through hotels.ca so he can get free nights. I also made a booking though United Hotels (ended up being the same price) so I can get miles. I've contacted hotels.ca to ask if I'm eligable for United Miles on that booking but I couldn't get a...

    Collecting luggage for ongoing flight?

Will have about three hours to kill before ongoing flight (arrive at 9.25am, dep 12.14pm, provided there are no flight changes). Last time I rushed to get my connecting flight, so at least now I can take my time and have a sticky beak around TBIT and see what improvements they have made. There...

    United Miles...earning miles

I have only about 11,500 miles earned since 2017 (my last flight to Canada) and flying again soon (United and Air Canada). I'm a slow earner as I'm not a frequent traveller. What is the best way to increase my miles? I have car rental through Hertz and some accommodation, though not sure I...

    Collecting luggage for ongoing flight?

Last time I flew MEL to YVR via LAX (United Airlines), I had to collect my luggage at LAX then schlep it to another terminal to check in for the LAX to YVR leg. I'm flying in a few weeks and for the life of me, can't remebember how I found out about picking up my bags etc. Flying UA MEL to LAX...

    United Airlines...no option to upgrade?

OK, shall have a look closer to the time and decide if I'm willing to pay the extra...though is it really worth it for a mere 5in?

    Re-instating expired miles

Ended up paying to re-instate and we'll see what points I get after my upcoming flights, as well as car rental and accommodation. Any other way I can bump up my points? I'm in Australia.

    United Airlines...no option to upgrade?

I'm flying Economy next month and just out of curiosity, was looking at upgrade options. There's no option to upgrade to Economy Plus, just Business Class (for $3000+!). Is such an upgrade available? I guess it wouldn't hurt asking at check in right, although depends on how much extra...

    Re-instating expired miles

OK so now I feel like a real d*****d. Whilst my email address was correct...I wasn't subscribed to anything :(...hence missing out on notification my points were due to expire. Oh well, lesson learned.

    Re-instating expired miles

Just checked my profile and everything is up to date. I also did a search in my inbox for anything related to MileagePlus and no email to say points due to expire...not one since 2017 when I first joined!

    Re-instating expired miles

I had no idea my United Miles had an expiry date, as I last flew in 2017. I only logged into my account the other week as I'm flying again next month...only to see my miles expired  I have the option of re-instating them for $100USD.....can't decide if worth it or not. I have around...

    United Airlines Delays/Cancellations

Very.....................upside (if you can call it that) was that I was upgraded to Premium Economy.

    United Airlines Delays/Cancellations

Apologies, yes flight UA99 (MEL to LAX). My flight two years ago was cancelled day before I was due to depart (same flight number) due to mechanical issues. I'm on the same flight next month and got everything crossed that I'm not in the same situation.
