The 4 A380s currently in AUH is how they will operate it (and the switch to A380s on JNB routes) which will free up 787s. In pre-Covid times QF typically ran a schedule with all 380s available over the summer holidays, and then 1-2 in for maintenance during the remainder of the year.

Didn't have a good start either.. and tbh was on a poor strategy. Also caused a bit of damage to Oscars car.

From plane spotters at LGW another return charter departing LGW on 30 Apr. Looks like OQB back into service operating QF6006 LAX-SYD. Plus two other 789s on the same route tonight.. so presumably QF had a lot of disrupted pax stuck at LAX. OQJ also back into regular service after the charter...
