Hi TRS123
Just found on FlyerTalk this forum from the start of this month which might answer your question. The 13th post has an image which shows BA280 check in opens at 12.50pm ahead of the 17.10hr departure...
Looks like Qantas could be making an ASX announcement on Monday outlining changes to its frequent flyer program. Likely to be the formal launch of its Classic+ product.
Gold frequent flyer here and very disappointed by this news as someone who has benefited pretty much every time on the golden triangle by selecting Row 4 at T80.
While Qantas is touting it as great for P1 and chairman's club flyers, it is very much a devaluation of those unwritten but very...

Former Telstra chairman John Mullen has been drafted to become the next chair at Qantas, replacing Richard Goyder. Reading his bio in the release. Mr Mullen is certainly racking up the director fees at the moment...

Hopefully they take a look at the A380s... Seems like there is always some kind of hold up making them push up a little bit later than scheduled than say Singapore Airlines and Emirates in my experience.
Had the new version on our flight to Noumea the other day + plus the French version of it, which probably all up took 8 minutes. The French one was much shorter without all the backstories and took just under 3 minutes.
Edited version is much better than the media cut, but six minutes is still a very long safety video. I feel 4 minutes is the sweet spot in keeping people engaged like the "safety in style" era from 2013-2015
My Samsonite bag came out on the carousel at Sydney T3 on Monday missing a wheel, which is not ideal when flying out again on holidays in a few days time. Saw Baggage Services who have did some paperwork and have also had to complete the online form on "what to do next" in getting it repaired...
Happy for a quiet lounge if only visual announcements/airport website information actually matches with what is happening at the gate. Too many times I've gone to the gate when I first see "boarding" on the screen to find out that boarding has not started, or that the plane has literally...
