Did the bonus ever come through for you @bellroy26 (and if so how long after the points hit your account)? Mrs MattA opened the AMEX Velocity Plat card within the offer period, hit the bonus spend requirement in the first month and points have just posted today but no additional VFF bonus yet.

Jumping on this one too. Rates look like being a few $$/month more than I'm currently paying but more than offset via the $150 credit (VIC). No brainer. As others have said, will simply move to whichever provider has the cheapest deal once the points have credited.

Well I don’t think the kids would be too happy if we left them at home, but you’re right: they’re the problem. If I change the booking to 2 adults it comes down to the same as the not logged in “member rate” with the “Breakfast included” box when logged in as a Plat:

It is, but there’s no way to uncheck it: if you click on it it has the member number in the box at the bottom here (clipped from screenshot), and there’s no way to remove it:
