I read on the Ozbargain thread last night that someone did Unlink to get a separate Gateway account - spent above the threshold required - but didn't get any bonus points. So from this information - it is not certain if you will get the points or not.

As I have a Platinum Charge card with Ascent Premium - I applied for the Explorer card 3 weeks ago. The Explorer card was automatically linked to my Ascent Premium straight away - thus not getting the separate Gateway program. I have just spent more than the required $1500 on my Explorer card...

Got my account upgraded to Hilton Diamond from Accor Platinum (only 3 stays). My wife's account was also upgraded to Hilton Diamond from Hyatt Diamond (multiple stays and nights). Happy about that!

So just to clarify - the Big W card can be used as a Wish card - so can I fill up at Woolworths branded Petrol stations? This is where the shop in the Petrol station is clearly identified as "Woolworths" and not "Starmart"?
