Well what a lovely lady at the desk to the MEL Intl. QC. Turned up, told her I was meant to be travelling with my Platinum father but he had to leave early at short notice. Not many people there so she let me in. 5hrs of waiting are much better spent in the QC :-)

Hello everyone... Are there any solo QC memebr travelling international from Melbourne on Tuesday afternoon, 31st July I could make friends with? I have a 5 hour wait in Melbourne for my Intl. connection to leave :( 31st July: CBR - MLB, QF815 15:25 MLB - LHR, QF029 22:50 (via HKG I think)

Is it possible to buy your way into a QC for just one visit? I'd gladly pay $50 or so to wait in the QC rather than at the gate... Especially when I have a few hours between flights.
