At BCG we called that "boondoggling" and it was priced into the engagement (even if not explicitly called out to the client) - The biggest boondoggler would get an award at the BCG XMAS party.
Just got an offer for 170% bonus. I did what I said I'd never do and bought just enough to top up for SYD-BKK J next month. Booking went through smoothly. Now, never again,
Yes. I did use the Dell discounts (2x$100) and the 2 lounge passes so that was something. They would need to pay me to use the Australian subscription :)
Amex Business Qantas Charge Card - Annual Fee $450, minimal benefits. (no spend over the last 3 months) so called to cancel today.
Without prompting was offered, and accepted, 80K QFF.
This happened on Thursday when I checked in at GLA for my QF J booking on EK to SYD via DXB and BNE. The EK story was that the QLD government won’t let Emirates drop off passengers that transit BNE for interstate flights (intrastate ok apparently).
The EK position contradicts with the QLD...
i believe at the moment that you can’t transit Singapore unless you meet the Singapore transit requirements. That’s means a single itinerary...
I think you’d be fine if you fly SG to coughet and get them to join the segments (and check luggage through to destination).
im trying to do the same...
