I returned home last night from a trip to Paris with QR in Y. First time with Qatar and Never again - will stick with our favourites, Emirates / Singapore Airlines next time for long haul to Europe. We flew all legs both directions in very old 777s. (When we booked 6 months ago they were A350 to...
We are flying tonight with QR out of Brisbane and am trying to work out how early we actually need to be there are Qatar have provided 3 different times.
(We have already checked-in online but will need to bag drop when we get there and are (sadly) flying Y)
QR website says 4 hours.
The...
That's excellent advice thank you - I will do that. I was not aware that VA could earn points flying QR as I have a heap of those also.
Thanks again - it is great to be back travelling again after nearly 4 (for me) long years!
OK , I have just discovered my fares are "S" and "T" class economy fares with QR.
Based on this - do i assume I will NOT earn either points OR status credits with Qantas for this? If that is the case, should I link my flight instead to Privilege Club? (I had not even heard of S or T class until...
Trying to find the fine print on this and hoping for an expert's advice on here as the QF website is vague on specifics!
Have booked return flights on Qatar Airways to Paris and have entered my QFF number in the booking.
Are these flights eligible for QF status credits if NOT booked through the...
I am not a business traveller but fly with QF to the USA a few times per year to visit my son, hence have silver status which helps achieve points business upgrades on those long flights!
We just returned from a trip to Europe flying with EK (and booking with EK) but linking our QF FF numbers -...
Thanks for your input. I agree with your thoughts - and Qantas were fantastic, rang customer service and they changed it over so we now have 3.5 hour layover. Without that I would have spent the entire trip stressing we'd miss our flight home. :)
We are booked (using Qantas) next January flying from Kelowna to Vancouver (Westjet, but booked with Qantas) onto Sydney (Qantas).
Westjet have changed their flight time, now giving us only 85 minutes layover before the 8pm flight home.
As it is mid-winter I am concerned that small airline...
I have been a member of these forums for years and find them very helpful but I think this is the first time I have ever posted a question - hoping for some advice!
My husband and I were booked on the direct flight from LAX to BNE next March, and yesterday I had an email to call Qantas to...
It is something I was looking into for after Xmas this year so had plugged in various dates in late December and returning mid January. The multi city ones only come up as a "flex" fare. Maybe I need to wait a few weeks and try it again?
Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me on how fares are calculated on a multi-city booking.
i am looking at flying from the Gold Coast (via Sydney of course) to San Francisco but home from Vancouver.
if I price the return fare to SFO it comes up around $2400, to YVR about $2500, but flying in...
I have just scrolled through 25 pages regarding the new DFW - SYD flight and can't find an answer to my question, so here goes!
I had booked to fly MIA-BNE via DFW next January ( a paid fare, not FF) . I had word from Qantas yesterday I'm now flying MIA - DFW - SYD - BNE - this has added 5...
Thanks for all your replies. We will be travelling Y with a points request for a J upgrade but presuming we will fly in Y.
I have a Platinum Amex- I didn't know that entitled me to that lounge access! I will look into that, thank you!
Getting home 90 mins earlier definitely appeals (with QF8)...
