Cancelling a 60k J Asia award today as QF released seats! Decided to do this as AC should offer me more flexibility on future trips.

Bought some more during the recent sale. Used it for hkg to melb on SQ. Not too bad considering I couldn't find 2 seats on QF or CX on the days that worked for us.

I stayed there last year. Hotel was fine, clean, fit for my purpose, free coffee downstairs, good location and safe.

Booked Mel - FRA. Pretty happy.

hahaha I hope the one that can't sleep sitting up goes to J. Given the class is O, I didn't think we stood much chance at all, but put the request through anyways. First time I've put a request and one came through. So very surprised and happy.

I put an upgrade request for my parents (who are on separate bookings) from Y to J on QF38. One successful, one unsuccessful. All bronze.

Looks like lots of fun was had by all. I missed this by 1 day! I flew out on QF 52 the night before, but did my own little lounge crawl at SIN. QR, then EK then QF J. Hope to join the next one.

Didn't want to create a new thread for this query, but on a Qantas A332 from Sin-Mel, what seat would you pick for a couple (not over 6ft) (also assuming T-80 availability opens up)? Many thanks.
