I had flights to Christchurch booked this year for my birthday in Nov but now instead I will meet my husband in Darwin (he is going on a fishing trip) and fly back with him to Bris in business on my birthday. Yes, I have booked my first flight since March for my birthday only. 😁

I just checked my app for the American express Qantas Business rewards card and noticed an offer whereby if I pay for Telstra, Optus, google and Australian paypal among others at $20 and over, I will receive a $20 refund!

i live in Qld and yes, it is a great state but NSW is great too and you have so many places to explore. I just don't get this huge push for QLD borders to open and the lengths people want to go to, to do so. Patients people!

I paid for TID insurance on Jan 24th 2020 for travel to the US on 17th March 2020. I contacted them on March 14th asking what their policy was if we didn't travel. Our flights were not cancelled at this stage. I received a response form TID on 30th April 2020 offering me the same credit.

I have $2K with American airlines for internal flights in the US which they will not refund and I need to use the credit by Dec 2021. Not sure if we will want to fly to the US by then and it was for a business conference anyway.
